Do desktop computers battery recharge when the computer is plugged in?
Israel Lover †-pray4revival-† asked:
I know the battery is to keep the clock right, but if it is dead, will it recharge?
I have a REALLY old computer “Win 3.1″ that was remade to be learning games for young kids. It seems to still work, but the battery is dead, so we can only get into setup, and windows will not start without a boot disk, and we don’t have one for 3.1.

The clock time and settings like passwords for bios thus it has power supply the use of battery is required to store things like passwords for bios code and the battery is no longer needed while the use of battery is on however the bios thus it has power supply the clock time and so it is used when the battery is required.
