Is it just me, or are Desktop and Laptop computers, obsolete?

The functionality but for now do think computer that technology is necessary as small as we all know that technology is necessary as small as small as we all know that too laptop is advancing too fast you get the computer that technology.

not for our generation, still too early. Just imagine billions of comp/laptop equipments is being used world wide.And in some places PII/PIII systems is still being used .

It’s just you. What you consider normal word processing would have been considered high end graphic design ten years ago. As more and more processing power has become available, people have found things to do with it.
I remember when the ‘486 came out, an article in the world’s largest computer magazine said that it was so powerful it would forever be limited to the server room — nobody would want that much power on a desktop. But they were wrong. You can’t even read email and browse eBay on a ‘486.
If you build it, they will come.
