Is their a new edition of facebook that only works on apple computers?

Because I went to the apple store and opened the safari browser to facebook.

When I logged on it had an option for the “new facebook”. When I clicked it everything was so different!!!!

But when I got home and logged on facebook ( on my gateway computer using internet explorer 7) it looked the same? and it didn’t have the “new facebook” option…

Whats going on?

   For privacy think they should be kept separately.
   The newer one personally like the new combined wallminifeed seems kinda stupid so much for privacy think they should be kept separately.
